Dead bodies pave the streets of Donetsk


With bodies laying on the floor and smoke clouding the city, residents of Donetsk were finding it hard to cope with the return of violence in the East Ukrainian city after the ceasefire was broke between pro and anti Kiev militants in the region on Sunday.nnThe ceasfire was broken as the first shells that hit the city on Sunday, leaving up to 20 people dead and at least 24 severely injured. Some civilian survivors spoke about attempting to escape when the heavy shelling started and said to be astonished for still being the target of the attacks.nnA market in the north of Donetsk was engulfed in flames while the work of the firefighters was obstructed by the on-going shelling, which also made impossible for the workers to take the bodies out of the streets.
